Arabesque - á Émile Bouedon
"Adagio, G major, 9/4 metre, ternary form. Above a sustained chord, in which only the middle voice moves, slowly and chromatically, an expressive, free arabeque is heard on Flute harmonique. In the melody the whole-tone steps draw the litener's attention. The middle section is related to the first section both rhythmically and melodically." (Ben van Oosen)
