One of my all time favourite song from the film "Chitchor"(1976) directed by Basu Chatterjee for Rajashri Pictures. Now after some thirty years,though it certainly make nostalgic feel.I am sajan, had saw this film through Doordarshan's Rajashri Pictures series in 2006. No objective can completely describe the wonderful beauty of simplicity of this song sung by our Ganagandharvan Dr.K J Yesudas. These song won the national award for the best playback singer to Yesudas. The lyrics and music was handled by the great Ravindra Jain.
