I really really enjoyed this. Are you a fan of 'The Bad Plus'. One of my favorite groups they do this tune as a jazz piano trio. Love your version... inspiring... cheers brother!

@sanfordandsong No worries at all. I mean, it's not that difficult to try and guess the fingerings off of the video, then match them up at try and figure out the strumming technique throughout the entire song.

I'm not an Aphex Twin aficionado or anything, but i have a small handful of his cds. He's one of the few recent electronic artists who really has an ear for melody as well as sound.

@sanfordandsong i can only agree ....the steel drum as an instrument mesmorises me  ...and that aphex version gives me goose bumps ....so perfectly done ....and yes very underestimated ...wow ur gunna re-record it?? ...how could u get this any better?? ...this id like to see ....keep it up dude ..are u an aphex twin fan? or just the FLIM song u like?

thanks for tipping me to the steel drum orchestra version...it's fantastic. I think the steel drums are one of the most beautiful, and under appreciated instruments out there.

(and thanks for the kind words. although i'd really like to record this again sometime...it's much more under my fingers now!)
