  • Has anyone else noticed what I presume is an editing mistake at the end of the first section? On about 2mins Master Kwok is finishing the third fook sau on his left hand and the camera angle changes. When it pans back around he is finishing the third wu sau on his right hand. Have a look and make sure I'm not making an idiot of myself!

  • I get soo many comments takes me a while to get round to approving the good ones from the spam, Well spotted thou! Its the original DVD thats edited this way lol

  • Is the form shown in full on any of Master Kwok's DVDs? I'd like to get one to help with my training. Thanks.

  • traditional wing chun has it in full from 2 angles, and that DVD and The keys to wing chun have Ip Man doing the form in Full too but thats a bit grainy

  • This is NOT Ip man's wing chun. Ip man practiced traditional wing chun, this is clearly modified. You can tell from the beginning by his footwork. William Cheung was taught from Ip man myself, who is now the traditional wing chun grandmaster. Get your facts straight folks!

  • This IS VERY MUCH Ip Man's Wing Chun!! please search you tube for Ip Man Sil Lim Tao to see Ip Man himself performing the form!

Ip man filmed the footage whilst in the later stages of Cancer because he was worried fools like willi Cheung were claiming to know the system when they didn't and they were changing it due to their own insufficient knowledge!!

please don't disrespect Wing Chun (and Ip Man), Thank You

  • This is the best SLT form I have thus far seen on youtube.

Compare this with most others on YT and notice how Sam Kwok is:

    1. Rooted in his stance.

    2. Relaxed AND tensing at the same time.

    3. Calm & focused on the form.

  • Does anyone here realize that Grandmaster Ip Man taught some techniques differently to each student that he taught due to things like Their Height, Weight, Strength, Physique, Flexibility & various other factors? Everyone here seems to be a Wing Chun expert so I can safely assume all you experts know that Grandmaster Ip Man personalised the Wing Chun system for each student he taught so it would be effective for them. Wing Chun focuses on Economy, Simplicity & Efficiency I'm sure you all know.

  • Master Kwok is one of the Uk's leading authorities of Wing Chun. His credentials are without a doubt exceptional and is beyhond doubt the real deal.

  • Beautifully done by Master Kwok. As a new student of one of his students this is invaluable for training at home in between classes. Clean, precise and accurate. It will complement his book 'Mastering Wing Chun' very well. I'll be meeting him in the next couple of months and I'm sure I'll learn a lot in the brief time he spends with our class. Top stuff!

  • i just started WT and this is a great help

  • Controversy surrounds the William Cheung method of TWC because we can even see that video of Ip Man shows different than what is taught. You can also find video of Chan Wah Shun method of Wing Chun--the first teacher of Ip Man. Before you judge, check it for yourself and see Sam Kwok is real!

  • This is not modified at all. This is definitely Ip Man's Wing Chun. This is exactly how we practice it and my teacher is Sunny Tang (Dun Wah is his Chinese name) who learned directly from Moy Yat and Ip Man himself. You can even see videos of Ip Man doing it himself and see that it's the same thing. William Cheung is a bullshitter. He claims that he was taught a special form of Wing Chun that no one else learned. Not even his own sons. Give me a break!
