Tanssiya Danses Orientales - Gala Polyfolk 2011 - The Light in the Dark

This was shot june 26th, for the annual gala of Polyfolk. It's a partially Yddish inspired set, as it's dedicated to my family, it's difficult to explain all the references and "private jokes" of this set. But it came from my heart, in order to remember to each and every one part of my flash and blood that, no matter what and essentially in rough times, we should hold close and "rock all over the world" (as we're a bit splitted).

Filmé le 26 juin 2011, pour le gala annuel de l'association brestoise Polyfolk. Ce set est dédié à ma famille, en partie d'inspiration yiddish, il est donc difficile pour moi d'expliquer toutes les références et clins d'œil. Mais il est venu naturellement, pour rappeler à tous les membres de cette fichue famille que, peu importe les évènements et surtout quand les temps sont durs, l'important c'est de se serrer les coudes afin de "rockin all over the world", parce que nous sommes un peu éclatés. La famille, loin des yeux mais jamais du cœur... ;)
