Thank you for creating these videos, it is chiiling to hear the actual words of Patton, my grandfather served in the third army, and though it was more like 40 years he was proud to say that he served under the great General George S. Patton. The real speech is much more interesting than the doctored speech from the movie, although my grandfather said that the movie was extremely accurate, other than the speech

@adamz712003 Thanks for your comments, Adamz. In my youth, I had heard of the irreverent nature of Patton's speeches, how windows on militarily-housed families would slam shut to muffle the sound, ...and knew that the GC Scott version wasn't the way Patton woud have expressed himself. A little internet search found the true version, and I tried to put life in to the speech which went unrecorded from the actual era's moment.

The speech is awesome, however, i find it odd that between this guy and George C. Scott, that it was deemed more motivational to rough up the voice of this other-wise smaller man with a rather sensitive voice. but good to hear the original speech with passion!

I can't find the actual opening speech in the movie "Patton" because of shit like this.
