To get off the boat, buy the game. The game has copy protection to protect against people using flash cards.

I don't get why Japan don't release rpg sequels like they should or for some reason Dragon Warrior suddenly became Quest the name in the US on Dragon Warrior/Quest 8...I can assume maybe they're was uncertainty that the sequels 5 and 6 wouldn't sale or they're was a name dispute over in the US if it should be called Dragon Quests for the rest of the sequels or money was the problem at the time for Enix.

It's like after Dragon Warrior 4 on NES in the US it was like....hey fuck you no more Dragon Warrior sequels but Japan gets it only..that made me mad for years.

The reason DQ 4-5 didn't get released on the consoles is because the US were mostly filled with FF fanboys/girls and Dragon Quest takes 2nd fiddle in the US to Final Fantasy.

1. get the Japanese one, with an english walkthrough

2. get the SNES one

True, it could've been. I'll have to rebuy it or something to find out, because I returned the copy I had and don't have money at the moment. (Bought the new Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep game for the PSP. ^^;)
