It's not a dangerous breed. I hate all of these laws that label every dog that is bigger than a football or doesn't look like Air Bud a 'dangerous breed'. Fucking media fueling this shit.
-
That BSL law is shit, its not the dogs, its the owners as you can see by looking at any video with pitbulls on here, theres tons of proof that the dogs arent to blame, the law was only passed in a rush to please the public outcry against dog attacks, Im pretty sure they didnt really think it through
The dogs they were trying to ban were owned by owners who were already doing something illegal(dogfighting), so why would they care if the dogs themselves were illegal? they wouldnt...
stupid law

@frizzykid100 I'm curious because I know every professional Corso breeder in the United States so who is the breeder. If it is who I think it is i would not be suprised. Pm me the name of the breeder because it is against CCAA rules to talk smack about other breeders. Alpha means boss period. Alpha the one who is in control.

@frizzykid100 Whatever you get take it to obediance. Obediance trains the owner not the dog because 150% of the time it is the owner not the dog.
-
@frizzykid100 Even now it is not to late every time a bite any bite scream anything and after many reputitions it will stop. If it does not stop take the looped end of the leash smack her muzzle three hard times. It is lack of training training is a constant thing it is not train the dog when it is young and everything is all great. Go to obediance class or find it a new home with a Corso owner. Many people think they can handle these dogs because they owned pitbulls.

@frizzykid100 I raise working dogs and you can tell between 6-8 weeks old what temperment they will have. Play bite is very bad if tooken from the mother before 8 weeks of age. Also ply bite has to be lite if the bite hard a nice loud "ouch" will imprint them not to bite in the future.A corso is not full grown until three contsant obediance and socailization has to be done the hole time not just as a young puppy.

@carnypimp nothing, I was stretching and she came over and attacked my arm)
When she attacks me (its happened so often it doesnt even bother me now) I wonder if she things shes the king of my house. When we got her, I was to younge to train her, So im not even to blame for a lack of training. And my parents spoiled her,
When i move out, im buying a small dog, naming it fred, and building him his own room,

@carnypimp if she was bigger she would've taken it off) When they were on the couch and my mom was petting her. she attacked my mother for no reason (an actual attack to, not a play bite) After that my mother was a bit worried, and we decided that maybe she wasnt the right dog. After that my mother sort of grew to love her (I dont think my house is big enough for her, She completley tore it apart when she was younger) and she wouldnt get rid of her. She recently bit me the other day (for n

@carnypimp Its not easy to tell a dogs temper when its a pup either i wouldnt think, when she was a puppy she was a darling, she never attacked, she play bit, and jumped around a bit, but other then that she was very friendly. it wasn't until she was about 1 year old, she was getting bigger, (not super big) but pretty large when we noticed she was begining to get a bit of a temper. About 3 weeks after that she attacked my mom the first time (good thing she was smaller,

@carnypimp I got my puppy from a professional breader, he was about the size of a football (maybe slightly smaller, it was about 4-5 years ago) My dogs grandfather was a award winning show dog. I dont understand alpha, Would that mean it'd be a girl? because my dog is a girl. The breeders went to my church and knew that my previous dog (an amazing german sheperd mix with something else, dont remember) and they Gave it to my family as a christmas present.

@frizzykid100 See here we go again you are wrong they are very family friendly and if you would have got this dog fom a reputable breeder as a pup you would have seen the better side of the breed. A reputable breeder doesn't allow dogs with aggression or fear issues LIVE. And the rescue should have put the dog down since they should have known the temperment of this dog. This breed is not at all hard to train where do you get this BS?
-
@frizzykid100 If you where bitten five times maybe when you get older a dog is not what you need. Canes are loving with the family if only if everyone asserts themself as the boss. Sorry for your bad experience you cant just damn the whole breed. I own and owned many corsos they don't like strangers because that is what they are bred for. None I have had or anyone I know has ever had problems with there Corso biteng anyone in there family. Alpha owners only.
@hefty He was like this when I bought him, in the past years breeders cut off ears and tail before

Cane Corso is an amazing breed. It was the dog of acent Romans, it is the dog Dante imagined as Cerberus, it is loyal.
Dogs are not wicked, only owners could be.
As any dogs it can be lovely or dangerous, it depends on the training....
