Wii remote plus SWEATY HANDS equals SMASH

It took less than a day after our Wii purchase for our Wii remote to fly through the air. Sweaty-hands Rob recommends: stronger controller straps.

its wierd how all these people are going so overboard with the WII they think the harder they swing the better it will go techinically it does but there is a limit to how fast it can actually go u know?

I still have a few first generation straps from when the wii first came out. The straps ARE as thin as you see in the video. The straps I have are pretty much thin fishing line. Why say something like this when you don't know what the heck you are talking about? YES THE STRAPS WERE LIKE THIN FISHING LINE WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT!

Also, fishing line is made for bringing in BIG ONES and should be plenty strong enough.

The problem is that people actually think the motion control responds when you try to pitch like a major-leaguer. The game was designed to be sensitive in a reasonably limited range of speeds so that even weak / disabled / elderly players would be able to play competitively.

All you really need is the motion, not the force.

@jevansturner actually there was a line inside the fabric thats just like fishing line... if you knew anything you would have knew this before spewing useless comments... my sister managed to break a strap on one of our wiimotes, she just got carried away... called nintendo and they shiped us a new one in 2 days :)

Uhm, you don't have to swing that hard.. It's not meant to be like you're actually hitting it, you just swing it lightly and it goes just as fast.. Me and my friends don't even stand up to play the games half the time..
