Spine tingling stuff - long may the Spirit of Ulster march on - GSTQ
-
Can anyone give me the names of these tunes ...this is a good outfit ....
-
The name UVF relates to the Ulster Volunteer Force of 1912 that was then merged with the YCV into the British Army to form the 36th Ulster Division...many thousands then going to fight and die in World War One.
The UVF of the 36th Ulster Division was the ONLY allied army to achieve their objectives at the Battle of the Somme on 1st July 1916 the largest battle ever recorded in history with over 1million men involved... that's impressive and should rightfully be remembered.
