It's rather sad...

Virginia has produced some of our most intelligent leaders & yet here these people are supporting an airhead like Palin.

There are about 200 countries in the world & if I asked Palin to name them, she maybe could name 10, whereas my guess is that Ron Paul could name most of them.

Oh yeah, I saw it. Sarah Palin is a bloody train wreck. I understand this and will laugh heartily at her expense. I just can't see bashing our fellow citizens for following her. Like I said, she speaks plainly and directly to the average, low-income, uneducated white American with words that are chosen specifically because they are what that group wants to hear. I don't get it myself, but those of whom I speak seem to get it. The fact that she fumbles, to them, makes her folksy.

I'm no fan of Sarah Palin, but I do take exception to the posts I've seen bashing average, everyday Americans. In an ideal world, the average would accept those with the best ideas as leaders, but the onus is on those leaders to convince the average to follow. Sarah Palin is speaking directly to the people you see here and speaking clearly. It would be a mistake to ignore that and write it off.
