Saint Mary's Politics Professor, and faculty expert, Hisham Ahmed is interviewed about the end of the U.S. war in Iraq by KCBS News Radio.
Ahmed is able to speak broadly about politics in the Middle East, including Egypt and the Arab Spring, Libya and the fall of Col. Muammar Ghaddaffi, the death of Osama Bin Laden and its impact on Al Queda, the political relationship between the U.S. and Pakistan and the ongoing conflict and negotiations between Palestine and Israel.
Ahmed has written numerous articles about politics in the region and was a political scientist at Birzeit University near the West Bank city of Ramallah until mid-2006.
