Firstly, I'm no politician. Secondly, let me rephrase what I mean. I came off too harsh; I think we SHOULD help Darfur, but I get VERY annoyed at how it's distracting all the attention from things equally as bad or worse going on elsewhere in the world.

Not that these atrocities don't diserve paramount attention aswell (seeign as how many violent activities in Columbia for the past decade have been funded by the US)they are hardly interchangable with one another. And I will give you no grounds to have the authority to tell anyone to "shut up" about their opinions, especially when they may very well know what they are talking about.
