  • At least Beck doesn't poop his pants and has people that are motivated to do something.

Congress, the house of ill repute.

And big government will stop tragedy's? LOL.

If this passes and G_d forbid something happens to a loved one of mine under this health care I will sock Olberman in his flagellant mouth.

  • What could possibly happen?

They don't previously have an insurance policy and now they will?

  • Every country that has the government controll of health care there are three commone threads.

    1- They are going broke

    2. They aren't #1 in innovation, no profit motives for many reasons, America is.

    3. Rationing has to occur as sure as the sun comes up, and you can't stop that.

The conclusion of this is I will squeeze that sumbitch so he craps himself, which he has a problem with anyway. Like a Hershey bottle.

  • You are talking to the wrong guy.

I lived in Scotland for 20 years where the socialized medicine was just dandy and NO-ONE had problems with it, until that is, the conservatives under John Major slashed the NHS budget and the whole thing went mental. I remember being in hospital in 1996 and literally getting kicked out because there wasn't any beds left in the ward. Tony Blair and labour came on the scene and restored the investments to decent levels and guess what, it worked. No waiting.

  • OK, Scottland, that spends how much of it's GDP on defense? Come on, man, we don't have the financial ability to do this. I'm called a racist, disturbed, greedy, vile, tea bagger, etc.

Question: What do I call you? Dude, it's not financially possible to do this.

Hello, you guys are ignoring what the Federal financing office says.

Can I get an answer? I don't want to be a slave to government, I don't care how well meaning Obama is.

  • Scotland, being part of the UK, gets allocated the funds on a UK wide basis, not as an individual country, which means you have to include the defence spending of England.

With that being said, let me say this. I enjoy your comments on here because it provides a balance. I've not saw a vendictive or downright aggressive comment from you and I applaud you for this. Feel free to continue posting here, because I can guarantee, you will not be persecuted for your views by me. Only challenged.

  • Oh man. What happened to the professionalism in news? Miss Peter Jennings.

  • They cannot name a single country because remember, The Right doesnt care about facts,

  • Interesting angle... I had not considered that. Pretty f*cked up really though

  • No, I can't do that. I don't see the logic in ceding the government power to regulate the Health Care system either.

Morally it is wrong to use the power of the Federal government to coerce Americans to pay into to this type of system.

  • Can you name one Country that is going Bankrupt Exclusivley because of its Govenment run Health system?

  • @spunkybear

yeah but you kangaroo riders don't go kill people overseas for fun!... so who the fuck cares about your backwards country. - Conservative Amerca

Seriously, that's the way they think. Countries who fund healthcare instead of warfare are cowards, are "too French", and should not be emulated

  • Australia has government paid health care

1- Australia is not going broke

    2. There have been lots of medical innovations coming out of Australia

    3. The rationing you speak of applies to things like hip replacements, knee reconstructions & other non life threatening injuries & conditions. Not to say its perfect... its not, but its better than no health care. If you want to pay for it you can get seen to a lot quicker. If you are sick & cannot afford health care you get health care... simple..
