How to tighten the serpentine springs on a sagging couch, sofa, or chair.I used spare electrical cords but rope can be used as well. It didn't cost anything and works great, haven't had any problems yet. Please subscribe to my channel, thanks for watching.

  • Im going to try this. Can I just pick up electrical cord from the home improvment store or walmart?

  • @MadelynMershonArt You can. However if you are going to purchase material i would suggest 1/4 inch -1/2 inch nylon or polyester rope, NOT COTTON, it will strech and all your hard work will only last a few days. It's much more inexpensive than buying and destroying a new extension cord. I used electric cord because I had an abundance of surplus power cables to pc's and an old extension cord that was unusable. The rope will be much easier to work with as well, hope this helps, good luck!

  • Good idea!
