It is indeed a very beautiful stop and flute adds a little extra creamyness to the sound. In my opinion the Noordwolde-organ is one of the most beautiful organs in Groningen. And only 3km from where I live... Each stop has great quality and much character. I love your style of left-hand (or should I say 'cello') playing. It's almost like listening to a part of a cello- solo-suite.

@flipkoos I'll answer your question ("why only the left hand") in English, to reach more people. I'm thinking of documenting my expertise as an organist for educational purposes. How exactly, I do not yet know, but that may be revealed by interaction through the Net. Besides, the prestant 8' of this organ (in this case with the roerfluit 8') is so beautiful that playing the left hand only is already a joy in itself!

Ja, zelfs één enkele stem uit Bachs polyfonie klinkt al prachtig en mooi voorgedragen ook op dit prachtige orgel. Maar vanwaar alleen de linkerhand? (The art of doing nothing with your right hand and feet :) ? )
