Thanks, SSOT. It was just a fellow-musician's curiosity, not trying to steal any secrets!! If you do ask, I wonder as well what the instrument is--an Irish bazouki? A cittern? It isn't clear in the video and it sounds so beautiful one doesn't care what it is!! :D

Dear Dave - This is really beautiful - both the playing and the singing. Liked the Hawaii bit at the end - is that you longing to escape the rain of Blighty? I have your CD which accompanies me in the car. The Joan song is a masterpiece. Actually, all the songs are masterpieces. And all credit to Brooks guitars for that crisp, clear, resonant sound. I'm the guy that filmed these videos of Dave Wood. I know he has a CD but it's not commercially available and I'm trying to get a copy of it myself. I've e-mailed Dave to ask about it and will let you know if he gets back to me with a positive response.
