I'm not Ilocano. I don't really like this version of the song. The Mabuhay Singers have the best version. I don't think that this qualifies as a "new" version just because the arrangements are done on a cheap-sounding sythesizer. The singer also sings in that annoying shaky-voiced Freddie Aguilar style. Unless they have something really interesting to add to this classic song, I think they should just leave it to the old Villar recordings of the 50s-70s.
