This a year ago, itself mate. Since I bought it last year, its dropped another £150-£200, before they stopped selling it. But its a great gaming laptop, still happily plays the latest titles on high settings :)

... treeting this device well. I spent on it year ago nearly 1000 Euro, so i might feel cheated. I regret this choice :/
But of course all games running pritty well - i am talking about quality.

@MrMake1521 I have same computer with HD5870 and i strongly do not recommand this item. I have it sience 1 year and: 1st day - AC/DC adapter broke down! It was also impossible to purchase fast such strong adapter! Memory stick intlet is mechanicly defected and i am unable to take out adapter. Stable gums glue-out in first month. Mouse and backpack are not usable anymore as well. And front frame - next to open-close hinges is braked- i spent pleny of money on this unit and i was ...

@lionheartx10 i'm thinking about buying this one for the holidays.. do you think it's still fast enough 1 year after you bought it?
How is the build quality? Some people say bad things about MSI build quality..

Over a year on yes I'm very satisfied :) runs games very nicely, even the latest ones on high dx11 settings :)

Well either this one or MSi's GX660R are good buys for gaming performance on the go. Have a look over some of my benchmark videos and review of the laptop. :)
