Lucy's POV
As I got out from limo and thanked my driver, Rob, I saw Marcy in the distance, with her beau NIck. NIck was mine first but she stole him from me. I've never forgiven her for it, but we're friends, so I hid it from her. Besides, now I have bait. I'm not going to use it unless she threatens me. I could see a girl a few feet behind them. Her eyes were fixed longingly on Nick's. Oh great. Just what I needed. Another girl, pining for Nick. Joe and Kevin were pretty cute too and I could get any one of them that I wanted. Nick was the hard, untouchable one, so I wanted him. As soon as I had him, I would dump him in a week. It wouldn't be such a big deal. There was something else drawing me to Nick, though. He was so kind and sweet. I didn't think he belonged with someone like Marcy. "Hey biatch!" Marcy squealed. I air-kissed her. "Hey Nick." I looked at him. He looked so FINE! I couldn't believe...whatever...it wasn't worth it. I could see Hannah coming in the distance. She looked so elegant in her clothes. No doubt her mother picked them out. Her mouth turned down in a frown as she saw us, but she squealed nonetheless. "Marcy, my girl! How are you?" This was why Hannah was second-in-command. She was such a suck up! "Hey Hannah." Marcy waggled her fingers as I said this and I felt my anger flare. "I have to go," I said. "Study for a test." Marcy laughed. "Why do you want to go?" she asked. "And besides, today's the first day of school." I blushed. I forgot about that. Now they knew that I felt really uncomfortable.

Hannah's POV
I don't see why Lucy was being such a pissy pants. She was giving Marcy death glares, thinking no one could see it. She tried to give one to me, but when she saw me snap my head up to look at her, she blushed and turned away. "So," Marcy concluded. "What do you think I should do? Hannah? What do you guys think?" I felt embarrassed. I wasn't even paying attention to her. "Oh, uhm, what?" I stammered. "You weren't even paying attention were you?" She looked bummed out and I felt inclined to reach out and give her a hug. I kept my hands stiffly to my side, though. I knew Lucy would give me another death glare and think I was a total suck up. Marcy looked disappointed and Nick looked amused. Oh joy. The perfect way to start school.
