@1lsold They aren't as comfortable. For some people that doesn't matter, for others a more comfortable ride that is easier on the joints makes sense. Personally, my neck and wrists don't like to conventional position. Also, it's just nice to sit back in a chair. Recumbents have their advantages and disadvantages, so you need to read up on it, and of course try one :)
