Seasonal Allergies

This is a film stylistically inspired by different duel scenes in the Thai western melodrama Tears of the Black Tiger.

I like the idea of creation of environment and making every shot composed to reflect the properties of earth but with no specific or realistic location so that the audience is thrown into an alternate reality where the circumstances and situations mirror the human experience while simultaneously allowing a magical hyperrealist fantastical freedom. The ways that the movie achieved this was through incredible symbolic importance to color pallet, iconic/cameo-like imagery and thematic elements. How I did this in my recreation was through postproduction layering such as having the blue moon in the middle of the day, as well as through use of color.
