Aboriginals Tell Samoans to go back to their country. They then call them a Pack of Dogs

AN Aboriginal man recalled "knuckling" two cheeky teenagers before later being swarmed by a large group of Samoans who bashed him unconscious, a court heard today.

In the Supreme Court in Brisbane, Harold John Bond was giving evidence in a trial in which four Samoans are charged with murdering Mr Bond's friend Richard Cecil Saunders and assaulting him and another friend.

The court has heard Mr Saunders, was killed and Mr Bond and Gordon Dale Willis were hospitalised after the attack by a group of nine Somoans at Ewing Park, at Woodridge, on Brisbane's southern outskirts.

The attack was allegedly in revenge for an earlier altercation between some young Somoans and Aborigines 10 minutes earlier in the park, on October 25, 2008

Vaai Saua Emelio, 19, Likisone Siliga, 26, Len Junior Wilson, 19, and a juvenile, now 17, pleaded not guilty to murdering Saunders, 38, and not guilty to two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm to Willis while armed with an offensive weapon and in company.

They further pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm to Bond, 55, while armed with an offensive weapon and in company.

Mr Bond recalled he, Mr Saunders and Mr Willis were drinking during the previous day but he remembered three young Samoans in the park being "cheeky".

Prosecutor Todd Fuller, SC, asked him if he could describe the young men, to which Mr Bond replied: "No, they all look the same to me.... they look like Samoans."

Mr Bond said the young men had been mumbling and making smart remarks so he hit two of them while "Gordie" (Willis) hit another.

Asked by Mr Fuller how he hit the two Samoans, Mr Bond replied: "Knuckle."
