    Not really. In Hawkins' tune his motif is an ascending major scale (1234) which occasionally changes key. This song is in the key of E and its progression is 2134 (excluding chord notes). The only similarity is the comping (for lack of a better term) dominant in both songs.

    Has anyone pointed out yet that this is a ripoff of "I Put a Spell On You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins? I know this will get downvoted and bitched at by fans of this band, but... I mean, it's pretty flagrant.
