@CarLooSmosh Because it was a product of its time, in a sense. Several big horror films came out around the times of these games and sold ridiculous amounts, making a game version of them also sells. Now in days they don't sell as well, which is the sad bit. Also Rockstar has grown such a absurd reputation that doing another game like this but more gory might just end them from the impending lawsuits.
