Now in its ninth year, the Iowa City International Documentary Film Festival (IC DOCS) is an annual festival committed to engaging our Iowa audience with the world at large through films that explore the boundaries of documentary and non-fiction filmmaking.
We have an exciting line-up for this year's festival. With films that cover topics from surviving in the woods to the lives of comic book artists and from the story of a space-bound love letter to a tale of a family torn apart by deportation. We've put together a diverse program for viewers that covers a broad range of forms, modes and styles, from conventional documentary to experimental non-fiction.
Come to the Bijou Theater, located in the Iowa Memorial Union April 14-16 to view some films that defy conventions and challenge paradigms.
Admission is free to all attendees.
