I want to make videos where you "capture the screen" (Is that the term?). Could you possibly help me?
I have Windows 2000 - and I can't find any video making program (for cheap/free) that works. Can you recommend something?

Well, there are many programs that will do that. I use Camtasia Studio -- not sure how much it costs now, but I think it's great. There are some that take screen-shots (not video) that you can use as well.

You want to know how to make screen-capture videos? I use Camtasia Studio. I might be able to do a tutorial of Camtasia if you would like.

I have love letters that my grandmothers wrote to my grandpa's during the WWII and Korean war, there is also news articles and what nots. Now I know what to do with them.

I love this kind of stuff. When I got my first tape recorder, I would sit and "interview" all the old people who would talk to me. Believe it or not, they loved to do this if they were able to. I got my great gandmas tape, all of my grandparents, my parents, and many of my grandparents friends as well. With their friends I made copies of them for their families after they passed away.

I am new to this, what did you mean by: bit.ly/HENz5F?=cbvbtd
I do agree with you. If we know where "we" came from then we can understand a whole lot more. People in today's time are detatched more than they were all the way up to the late 1980's to now. Sad....

Of course, the genealogy in the Bible is mythology.

Lots of helpful info. Unfortunately, I don't have my grandparents anymore so I can't ask them anything. I'm now relying on aunts, uncles, cousins of my parents and their kids (whom I never met face to face).
