Thank you so much. Can't wait to see your recipe for air freshner. For me, I make a mixture of ground cinnamom and water and place it on the stove over a low light. It freshens the entire apartment for hours.

i read a while back that using soda or starch on carpets makes it diffucult when time to shampoo....the vacuum never gets all of the soda or starch up and when the water from the shampooer (is that a word lol) that is clogs up.....just wondering....love the idea though...thanks for sharing

I have never tried cinnamon in there but i love mixing scents like lavender etc. Hmmm bet it smells lovely

@shellyshell26 Hi, Girl! My carpets are light (ivory/tan mix) and the mix didn't stain. Remember to use it first on an inconspicuous space first. Okay, I'll make the air freshener! LOL!

@cperisee Yea! Let me know how it works. My eldest daughter has headaches and this has helped her so much. The cinnamon smell is so peaceful too :)
