All guitars recorded with the same volume and tone settings. Switching pickup positions starting with the bridge pickup, moving to the middle position(s) then to the neck.
2001 Autumn Redrise JP
2008 Blackburst BFR JP

With my eyes closed, there is no difference.
Ever heard of The McGurk Effect? :)
Nice guitars, I see one in my near future.

I'd have to say
#1 is the BFR
#2 is the Koa BFR
#3 is the regular JP
My personal preference of course.

The Blackburst BFR has more deeper low end and thicker sound than the basswood JP. Koa BFR one is also great but I still like Blackburst BFR the most.

I notice VERY little difference in tone to be honest.

Hey Pete you sold me the Dargie Petrucci 7 few weeks ago, thats weird I came across you on youtube randomly looking up BFR videos! Is the autumn redrise yours? A beautiful color changer they shouldn't have discontinued.

I find that the D,G, and low E string all go out of tune the fastest on a fixed bridge. I also find that the D and G strings die the fastest of all of them.
I know that this may vary depending on the brand and quality, but am i right?
ShadowLancer128 2 years ago
It also varies by how you tune your guitar and stretch the strings, what kind of nut you have, what kind of tuners, etc etc.
The guitars in this vid all have tremolos and are not fixed bridge models.
