I also like it because it shows how everybody needs to see to believe... the bad thief told Jesus to prove it if he was the son of God.... The priest said the same thing. However, the good thief did not need any proof to believe....he just knew that Jesus did not deserve to be crucified. He knew that he did something wrong and he is was sorry for it...The thief doesn't ask for forgiveness...he just asks to be remembered...Jesus takes care of the rest. It is beautiful.

This means more to me than anything else I have read or heard about in the bible. This is my religion....my hope. There was good in the thief to know that he had sinned and he regretted what he had done... There was no mercy in the hicopricy of the priest and the thief knew this. When Jesus saw this he forgave the thief for everything and granted him eternal life...because there was good in his heart... Every time I watch this I cry because it gives me hope too despite everything I have done.
