Gesture / Technology / Saxophone

"Gesture / Technology / Saxophone" is the title of the latest art and sound research initiative of Sigma Project, premiered on September 20, 2010 (Arniches Theatre, Alicante), in the XXVI International Music Festival of Alicante.

The program included the world premieres of three works commissioned by Sigma Project to the Spanish composers Juan José Eslava (Navarra) and Juan Cue (Asturias) and the French one, Thierry Alla.

The premiere of CHAMAN (T. Alla) meant the presentation of the first work in the history of music composed for bass saxophone quartet.

The making off was made by the video artist Juan Rayos.

"Gesto/Tecnología/Saxofón" es el título del último proyecto de investigación artística y sonora de Sigma Project, presentado el 20 de septiembre de 2010 (Teatro Arniches, Alicante), en el XXVI Festival Internacional de Música de Alicante.

El programa incluyó los estrenos absolutos de las tres obras que Sigma Project encargó a los compositores Juan José Eslava (Navarra), Juan Cué (Asturias) y al francés Thierry Alla.

El estreno de CHAMAN (T. Alla) supuso la audición de la primera obra compuesta en la historia de la música, para cuarteto de saxofones bajos.

El making off fue realizado por el videoartista Juan Rayos.
