Aerobics / Power Circuit
This upbeat cardio and strength conditioning class offers a combination of many styles of aerobic activities such as step, high-low impact, dance, kickboxing, and polymeric moves intergraded with strength and power training. Get your heart pumping and your body in shape on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:15am to 9:15am.
Water Aerobics
Water aerobics will challenge participants to burn calories and stored body fat. Other benefits include cardiovascular conditioning while adding muscular toning and endurance. Class format includes a warm-up, aerobics, cool down, toning and stretching. No swimming is required and may be adaptable to many fitness levels. Class meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM- 9:50 AM at the Aquadome Recreation Center. Summer hours are subject to change.
Water Walking R.O.M.
This class is based on the Arthritis Foundation guidelines and offers participants a variety of exercises to aid mobility, balance, flexibility and co-ordination. The natural resistance of the water will increase muscular strength and endurance and is an excellent class for those suffering with arthritis, fibromyalgia, orthopedic problems or has a low fitness level. No swimming is required. Class will meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Aquadome Recreation Center. Summer hours are subject to change.
Strength Training
The goal of this class is to develop muscular strength and endurance while giving muscles a toned and leaner appearance. Both upper and lower body will be targeted as well as the core muscles. Barbells, dumbbells, rubber tubing, and medicine and stability balls are a few tools that will be used in class. This class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM at the Aquadome Recreation Center.

I have never seen that many white people at the aquadome. I am glad that I dont live in decatur anymore because the racism there is atrocious. When I was 8 we used to swim there for 50 cents a day. I NEVER saw any old white lady's. This is an add that avoids 70% of the populous of Decatur. Thank Gawd, mother moved us away.
