U2 - Beautiful Day (Live 8 London)

http://www.cutloose.biz Live 8 was a great global event to raise awareness (and money) for the plight of those less fortunate.
Live 8 was put on by superstars but now there is a way where you and I can contribute directly to those in need and begin to repair the damage that mankind has wreaked on out planet AND earn money for ourselves along the way.

Hyde Park, London - England

Live 8 was, and remains a brilliant moment but what is more important is the brilliant movement of which it was a part. This gives the poorest of the poor real political muscle for the first time.
It is this movement of church people and trade unionists, soccer moms and student activists, that will carry the spirit of Live 8 on. It is this movement, not rock stars, that will make it untenable in the future to break promises to the most vulnerable people on this planet.
That was always why we put on the concerts.

I remember that day. one day before the concert in Hyde Park. a paki speak with me in exellent German , he could not know that I am from Germany. he was very nervous. asked weird things. when we fly back, etc. right where we are, and dropped out "kings cross" is not even a week later, the bomb exploded .... it was a shock..... this was not been randomly
