This video shows the glimpses of Second Tied Match in the history of cricket. It was between India V Australia at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Madras, in India between September 18 and September 22, 1986
couldn't agree more nimajji, beautifully put. We need him back in the coaching ranks at the moment. Someone who can instill some grit and hardness amongst the current generation of soft cocks.
Younger Aussie fans should always thank Allan Border for what he did to Australian cricket -- from the nadir of 1984, he and coach Bob Simpson led the resurgence of their cricket, the reverberations of which are felt to this day. As an Indian fan of cricket, I tip my hat off to AB. I was not really a fan of his but will forever acknowledge what a gutsy, gritty man he was and the generational paradigm shift he engendered in world cricket. What a great man!
