@hovy82 Washing up liquid contains salt which is very bad for the paint.
Better to use a very strong mix of car wash shampoo or better still wipe down with isopropanol alcohol .

MMMmm... very nice, but the over cast sky helps.... in direct sunlight will sort the men from thr boys though.. cheers

WOW!! now that is a shine!!! What is the best way of removing all the old wax from a car before polishing it and waxing it? I have a 996TT and I have used several differant waxes and I want to start over from the beginning. What type of polish did you use? what type of wax did you use? How many coats? Please let me know I am constantly trying to get a better shine.
