believe it or not the best way to remove all previous waxes and sealants is to use a dish washing detergent then u build up ur paint correction again ... _- water rinse - snow foam with dish detergent - water rinse - clay - hand wash with ur favorite car shampoo - water rinse - dry - polish - surface clean - seal and/or wax
WOW!! now that is a shine!!! What is the best way of removing all the old wax from a car before polishing it and waxing it? I have a 996TT and I have used several differant waxes and I want to start over from the beginning. What type of polish did you use? what type of wax did you use? How many coats? Please let me know I am constantly trying to get a better shine.

@hovy82 Washing up liquid contains salt which is very bad for the paint.
Better to use a very strong mix of car wash shampoo or better still wipe down with isopropanol alcohol .
