Honors is funny to me. Telling people to aim higher! I took honors classes in college, and it's bullshit. They make people think that just because you took an honors class you have special privileges and you are better than everyone. Honor students and NHS students are no better than anyone else.

University dropout. Went to a technical college for two years instead, working summers to pay off tuition. Now I'm debt free, and making as much as any honors major would make. People really need to consider their options, and pursue the things they actually enjoy doing. Don't believe the prestigious hype, look out for yourself and your future first.

When you are deaf like me you have to college. Many times the deaf cannot get even menial work without a degree. Its just the way society is because a lot of people, especially employers, still treat the Deaf like they are dumb and stupid.

The problem is we have been told with all the damn fear mongering to boot that Higher Education is the End All, Be All to success, but we're finding out that all it is, is more societal propaganda,The only ones who are successful at that game is The Education Racketeers and the Politicians who endorce Higher Education which is most of them.

Teacher bias exists along with the housing and book scams. All of these youtube comments are legitimate too. I just withdrew after two years of college. I used to think people saying these types of things were just bitter and stupid, but that is not true. Work experience is most valued for ANY job. A person with 1 year of wawa experience will be hired at wawa over a person with a college degree. They dont want to train you and you are getting minimum wage.
college is BULLSHHT. i only did a semester, left because of financial aid problems, wasted a WHOLE load of money on books and other stuff, im back home in $14,000 worth of debt, im only 18 can't get a damn job, yet although im in debt im glad i dropped out. much happier, home cooked food, saving money. it doesnt mean im stupid, i graduated with a 3.6 in highschool im pretty smart and have common sense, and my commen sense is telling me to save my gotdamn money. screw college.

In my experience, if you have to question yourself if you want to go to college, you should not go. Also, I can attest to the fact that colleges are just HUGE money making machines. My school required a course called "Counseling 20" which basically is a welcome to college class with tons of busy work and it's own custom textbook. I dropped the course early but took it again this year only to find out the course is no longer required! Basically the class was a quick money making scheme!
