It could be theoretically possible to airdrop full-size tanks but you'd need retrorockets, huge chutes and airbags to make it work.

No army was ever able to paradrop main battle tanks into battlefield, it is pure fiction.

Heaviest airborne tank that can be deployed to battlefield with parachutes are "locust" and Sheridan. Soviets have BMDs and ASUs, but first one is just a skinny IFV that can be easily destroyed and ASU is just an airborne self-propelled gun that is too weak against modern armour.

Dude... ive seen videos of experimental drops of heavy tanks... red about ripped dogs in to halfs... red a lot about it... seems like uve googled quickly ...found those sheridans and replied to me... Search for minotaurus project.... not this bullshit.

Provide your own links, because you can`t find anything on Google (in before you tell me its "supersecret", that would be utter bullshit since even more secret projects leaked after collapse).

Nothing is mentioned on Great Soviet Encyclopedias, nor armed forces of USSR.

You can basically throw down anything out of transport plane with few parachutes attached, but it will just cause object to desintegrate after impact with ground.

And LOL, Sheridan is well known.
