During the sixties, Paul noticed that the music he had enjoyed playing on harmonica (his first instrument) was now referred to as "Folk Music" and was enjoying popularity. During his short time in agriculture college, he was mostly occupied with learning guitar and hitch-hiking to where the music was. He soon left college and hit the road permanently. He found paying gigs in coffee houses and "basket houses" in cities and at college campuses and made occasional forays South and West in search of the music he loved and what gigs he could find.

Paul Geremia is my all time favourite in the piedmont blues style. He and the swedish (!) group Piedmont Project are doing a fantastic job keeping this music alive. Does anyone know what brand that good sounding guitar is?

This is a pretty good version. I particularly like Paul's voice. The thing with CP is that you've really got to get the heavy driving beat underneath whatever is being played/sung. I'm not quite sure this gets there...

this is the best i have heard Pony Blues played...much better and smoother than i play it..are there any tabs for it? chords? looks like standard E?
