In 1989 the entire Jackson family (excluding La Toya, Marlon, Michael and Janet) appeared on the Donahue Show to promote the film "The Jacksons and American Dream" and Randys album "Randy Jackson and the Gypsys". They also talk about life growing up in the Jackson family.

Family members present include Joseph, Katherine, Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Randy. The second generation of Jacksons is also shown (most notably 3T whose members were between 11 and 16 at the time).
