  • Amazing ROM. the head bob is what its all about

  • @donkslol While I haven't done the shrugs on the Smith Machine in a while (after this video), I do find that my head has a tendency to want to move forward ~ plus, it seems to show me more shrug movement as I look at my form in the mirror... I will have to get back to the Smith Machine shrugs and have some trainers/bodybuilders watch to ensure that I am completing the entire and appropriate range of motion! :-)

  • @dwaynekilbourne aha same, one of the cable machines i use automatically has 10 pounds added to the system, so 100 pounds would be 110

  • @danthaman7777 I appreciate the question though... I actually have looked into some of the weight that is claimed on each machine, especially the cable equipment ~ I had to correct them one time (at the gym) when that weight that was actually in kilograms yet was labeled as pounds! Oh the attention to detail, huh?

  • @dwaynekilbourne mhmm i know what u mean, but im not doubting u bro :P

  • @danthaman7777 I will try to see if I can find out... I would imagine that they would have to weigh more than 15lbs to ensure that they could handle the plated weight on each end, but I will look into it... I certainly do not want to cheat myself and claim certain weight amounts if I didn't do them... you know?

  • @dwaynekilbourne i know actual oly bars r 45 lbs, just always thought smith bars weighed less,

  • @danthaman7777 I thought the bars were 45lbs... of course, the actual nature of the Smith Machine is different ~ I will look into it and see about the starting weight (thanks for the question)!

  • isnt the bar 15 pounds?
