original song I wrote for my father the late Henry Muoria when he passed back in 1997.
Here is a link of a book that has just come out about my father's writings :

Henry Muoria played an important role in African history.

Written by Dave Mwaniki & also some of my family memebers mentioned help me out with some of the lyrics and chords.
Ruth Mwaniki (my mother) Simon mwaniki(brother) & Wesley Mwaniki (nephew)

I am very proud of my dad and it was an honour to wirte this song and still miss him to this day but as the song says ' I know one day I'll see your face'.
I look forward to that day when I will be reunited with hin in heaven.

Dave

  • The song, the lyrics, the performance and your spirit behind all that are a heart-felt testimonial to the strength and courage of your father in fighting for those in Kenya who needed his voice and presence. Clearly, your father has passed along to you a similar strength, courage, caring and talent that you use every day. I just purchased the newly published book about your father's writings, as well as his own book. I look forward to reading them. Be well, and I hope to see you this year.
