@singldad39 That's not correct. Showering doesn't have anything to do with getting rid of loose feathers and dander. It is necessary to keep the bird's skin healthy and to soften the sheaths around new pin feathers so the feathers will develop correctly.

He is dry clean only! I have a sun conure just like that!

You got owned by your parrot.

I've been bitten by a Quaker. I dont even wanna imagine how African Greys bite.....
-
I think the scar on my lip just proves why you SHOULDN'T get too close to an African Grey. It fucking hurts!
-
@MoogieSRO Lesson 1 is actually : Perform any action that is not obviously agreeable to the disposition of your parrot and find humour in the event. For examply, spray it with water even though it tries to avoid it, then, agitate it until it bites you.

My girlfriend has an African Grey, and from what I've read, they don't necessarily need water baths or showers, and can do fine by just flapping their wings to rid themselves of loose feathers and dander. Her bird flaps her wings all day long, even clipped can produce quite a breeze.

someone shoud take this parrot from those people, they mockery with it
Getting your parrot to trust you, lesson 1: Shove a camera in its face. Works flawlessly!...
