i ordered a dell studio 17" with a graphic design & while it looked great online, didn't look so great on my laptop, they seem rich and colorful online but on your laptop it looks cheap and washed out and i expected it to better than that considering the price they charge for the designs but i ended up sending mine back anyway cause the whole laptop was messed up along with the graphic design, dents & scratches on it and there was a startup error as soon as i turned it on and graphic card error
yes aq1sw2de3fr, as someone who i guess would be considered an artsist (dont like to toot my own horn), i would LOVE to design my own laptop! that way it would be impossible for someone to steal it and claim it as thier own, cause it would be completely original! thats an awesome idea :)
Love what Dell is doing to their consumer products. The next thing would have to be user customizable designs. Maybe the user could send in their design and get it printed on the lid of their notebook. Or maybe Dell can set up an online service where you can drag and drop some shapes on a blank canvas which will then be printed on the notebook.
gotta hand it to you guys, you make the coolest looking products on the market. The XPS line is AMAZING! The colors and shape bring a sense of power onto your desktop while not being too flashy and cliche. I personally think the black/red dell xps 730 with the x-view side panel is a work of art, but unlike Apple, it has performance and usability to it, also.
That's why I picked Dell as my company for a graphic design project, very easy to make your products appealing.
