  • @AFROTHINKER hes basically pointing out that when teaching international students (In their non native language), you must be aware that it takes more brain processing power than non international students. This is because an international student must focus on the meaning of the words, as well as the concepts. Hes emphasizing the importance of not overloading students.

  • I dont undersatand thie NONsense!!!! Can some one explain it to me? What about us who immigrated in countries where we had to learn new languages and compete with the native speaker at schools, for jobs etc etc.

    This sounds like he is saying that when you learning using another langauges as a medium of instruction, your learning capacities are diminished ( less than 5 concepts compared to 5 concept to be learned by native speakers)

    It sounds like nonsense!!!!!!!

  • This is really really interesting....I had a name for this I made up..called, "riding the wave" and this is exactly right.
