I'm up to my 3rd of 4th session of trying this... I'm getting some sound to come out. Amazingly enough, I found the E to be easiest for me >_> Also, I found it easier to get the sound to come out by doing an upstroke with my pick-holding index extended behind the pick.. instead of using my thumb and a downstroke. I'm pretty sure the thumb downstroke is more efficient in the end though---

@hoju75 really? lol this video doesnt show much anything. If you want a real video for this let me know. I can show you some advanced techs that really make pinch harmonics awesome

OMG! This is the best video. I've been struggling for years and the one thing that you said that OTHERS FAIL to mention is the 45 degree downstroke. Finally! Thank you!

I don't think you mentioned this Andy but squealies ring out best/easiest when the guitar has the rear pick up selected. For multi pick up guitars obviously! That's what I understand to be the case anyway.....
