SP-404 quantizing vs SP-303

Did you load the same drum sounds into both of the machines? How do you like the sound of the two different machines?

i sampled 2 different drums on both machines.

i prefer the 303 sound, but it's a question of taste.

but concerning the pads, i prefer way better the 303 pads (too).

quantizing is normally used in order to "correct" some imperfections when we record a rythmic pattern.

i finally sold the sp606, due to some bugs when palying 2fx and scrolling patterns at the same time...

i bought the sp505 wich is more complete and more stable.

i had a hard choise ebtween that and an mpc 1000

i ended up getting the mpc
