I'm playing on a Vandoren Optimum AL3 mouthpiece here. I have since used a C* when I need a clearer sound, there are advantages to each one in my opinion.

  • What's your set up?

Here I was using a Vandoren Optimum AL3 mouthpiece, Optimum ligature, blue box 3.5 reed, with a Selmer Series II horn.

  • Nice sound..I like it... Are You played with Selmer S80 * mouthpiece?

  • I can't get the 3.5 vandorens to work for me on the AL3. I use the 3's and now the 3 V12's. Maybe i'm just not strong enough for 3.5's :)

  • @bradyamerson Very nice, I have the same mouthpiece setup.
