75 gallon Reef Tank w/ New Refugium 04-22-09

Tank does not house these fish anymore except the blue hippo tang. All these fish were bought 1in-3in's max and grew to this size. I had to get rid of them and put them in larger homes. ...75gal Reef Tank w/ New Refugium. Just added refugium and I wanted to document the changes to the tank so I could share it with others. Here's a discription of the tank: Lighting- 2-20k Hamilton Halides, 2-96w Actnics. 1- MP40W Vortech(in wave mode) 1-MP20 Vortech, Warner Marine Protein Skimmer, Iwaki pump, Two Little Fishes Phos-Reactor, Milwaukee pH Monitor, Milwuakee Regulator,AQUA U.V. Sterilizer and forgot the brand of Calcium reactor. Tank by Aquarium Works, N. Hollywood.

@twelvejewelz Alot of those fish are gone. Pulled them out because they were taking food from my corals/ picking at them

@Kyprosreef i know what you mean. i have 2 peppermint shrimp that im gona flush if i can ever catch them. they always steal food from my corals. They even ate an acan that cost me 150$ im not happy but i cant get them out lol

@twelvejewelz I have a newer video posted. but the Midas Blenny passed away, the Cleaner wrasse was eaten by an eel I bought and so was one of the clown fish. The Powder Blue was a bully and had to be removed and the Copperband was picking at the coral. Now I have a rare Kole Tang, Blue Tang, school of Chromis's,Swales Swissgaurd Basslet and a Diamond Goby. My tank is nice and peaceful

@jgtheman84 yea but with the right amount of water changes , a good skimmer, and a good refugium with macro algae growing it can be very successful its all about maintenance. And you have to make sure no fish are stressed and your good to go.
