I met Dave in 1999 at a coffee shop in NYC.. He taught me this song before leaving for the night. Sacred memory to me... Great man.

I about wore this album out the summer of '64. I learned every song on it, but nowhere near to Dave's level, of course. I got to meet him sometime about 1975. The guy was a class act.

Love Dave! He was known as a " Interpreter Of The Song" He also let Bob Dylan stay on his couch when Dylan 1st went to Greenwich Village,Nyc to Meet Woody and Play Music in Clubs Like the Gaslight Club among others! There will never be another Voice Like Dave's!!
