@BluesBlasterLammy i do believe 'white soul' is called 'blue eyed soul' for future reference. Also soul wasn't invented and developed by black people, it was developed by people involved in chess records and stax, who were white - with a black blues influence and with black talent. It's a collaborative genre without race , we all agree with that right?

"White Soul" is not a genre. Soul is. It doesn't matter what colour your skin is as long as you got Soul, feeling and the right attitude. Having said that, and although there are a lot of "white" arstists doing nice soul music, its the "black" ones who generally do it better, as it was invented and developed by them.

That you're not white doesn't mean you can't be racist or at least too focussed on unimportant things like skin colour. (Not implying that you are, just sayin')
I see where you come from though, "white soul" might be considered as a valid genre of music by some people but it's really the name of this ficticious sub-genre I have a problem with, not with the point that you were making ;)
